VoidBox documentation

Every feature, step by step, with pictures of the screens you will actually see. Nothing here needs a paid plan unless it says so.

1 · Add VoidBox Free

Two minutes, and nothing to configure before it works.

Open the invite. Press Add to Discord on the intro page or in the dashboard header.
Pick your server. You will only see servers where you have Manage Server — that is Discord's rule, not ours.
Leave the permissions ticked. Each one powers a feature: kick and ban for moderation, manage roles for reaction roles and level rewards, manage channels for tickets, move members for voice rooms. Untick one and the matching feature stops working rather than failing loudly.
Authorise. VoidBox joins and starts counting activity straight away.

Commands not showing? Discord rolls new slash commands out globally and it can take up to an hour. Nothing is broken — wait, then type / again.

2 · Run /setup Free

One command, no arguments. Everything is menus.

Type /setup in any channel — there is nothing to type after it. VoidBox posts a private panel with two dropdowns:

A category (💰 Economy, 🎰 Games, 🛡️ Safety, 🤖 AI, ✨ Community) whose second menu ticks features on and off. Whatever is ticked when the menu closes is saved.
A section — shop items, jobs, companies, level rewards, FAQ, chat-revive prompts, social alerts, stat channels, giveaways, reaction roles, tickets, rules, the honeypot, and “change a setting by describing it”. Each lists what you have, with Add (a pop-up) and a Remove dropdown. Anything a pop-up cannot ask for — a channel, a role, a platform — is a second step right after it.

Deep editors are not squeezed into chat: application forms, the welcome card layout, achievement art and long reaction-role lists list what exists here and link to the dashboard, which does them properly.

The /setup panel in Discord: every feature grouped by category with its on/off state, and dropdowns to switch features or add items — The `/setup` panel: each category shows what is on. Pick a category in the first menu to switch things, or a section in the second to add items, jobs, alerts and giveaways.

Everything /setup exposes is also in the dashboard, with more detail. The panel is the fast path; the dashboard is the full one.

3 · The dashboard Free

Sign in with Discord. VoidBox receives your user ID, your name and avatar, and the list of servers you administer — used only to decide which servers you may configure. Never your password.
Pick a server from the switcher at the top.
Choose a group from the left: Levels & economy, Safety, Community or AI & alerts, plus the Dashboard home. Can't find a setting? Type it into Search settings at the top of the sidebar.
Choose a section from the group. Every change saves automatically about a second after you stop typing. A note pops up showing exactly what changed (old → new), and Your data → Recent changes lists everything saved from your browser.

Simple and Advanced mode

The dashboard opens in Simple mode: one sidebar row per page, and the fine-tuning dials (cooldowns, thresholds, image fonts…) folded away. To see everything, click your profile picture → Preferences → Dashboard mode → Advanced. Advanced adds shortcuts to every section and shows each section's Advanced settings block. The mode is saved in your browser, and switching never changes or deletes a setting. Search always finds every setting in either mode.

The guided tour

The first time you open the dashboard, Boombox gives you a short tour: where to pick your server, the five groups, the search box and the mode switch. Replay it any time with Tour with Boombox in the sidebar, or with Redo the tutorial in Preferences. The tutorial always starts again from server selection. Preferences also open from your profile menu before you pick a server. Boombox also sticks around while you work. The first time you open a page, he explains what it's for and what to do first. Any time after that, press the round ? button in the bottom-right corner and he explains the page you're on. Turn the automatic tips off (or make them show again) in Preferences. Still stuck? Join the support server.

Home screen and previews

The dashboard opens on a home screen: a greeting and a big tile for each essential feature (Leveling, Economy, Shop, Achievements, AI chat, Welcome, Moderation, Tickets, Giveaways, Leaderboard, Analytics), each marked On or Off. Tap one to jump straight in.

Anything that posts something visual has a live preview that updates as you type: level-up and achievement cards, every message field (welcome, goodbye, boosts, birthdays, event reminders, lockdown, drops, tickets, verification, rules), items, /store, /bundle list, reaction-role panels, ticket panels, giveaways and starboard entries. Placeholders like {user} are filled with sample values.

You can see everything before paying. Premium settings are shown and labelled, not hidden. Click any yellow Premium tag, or ⭐ Upgrade at the top, to see the plans.

4 · Switch from another bot Free

Moving from MEE6, Arcane, Lurkr, Amari, Tatsu or any other levelling bot, without anyone starting at zero.

Levels are kept exactly. A member at level 29 in the old bot is level 29 in VoidBox: VoidBox gives them the XP its own curve needs for that level. Nothing is written until you have seen a preview and pressed Apply, and any import can be undone for 3 days.

Messages and channels: `/migrate messages`

Copies what your old bot posts, not just its levels. VoidBox reads the recent messages in every channel, finds posts by another bot that ping a member, and sorts them into welcome, goodbye, boost and level-up by what they say. The newest of each is copied with its embed, colour, emoji, images, GIFs and channel links. The member it was about becomes {user} / {name}, their picture becomes the new member's, and a level number becomes {level}.

It also fills channel settings that are still empty (rules, mod log, message log, starboard, birthdays, verification and more) from channel names and from the channels your old bot's posts link to.

/migrate messages preview:True shows what would change; nothing is saved.
/migrate messages saves it. /migrate messages undo:True puts back what you had.
Dashboard: Levels → Import from another bot → Scan my server.
Afterwards, turn your old bot's messages off so members aren't greeted twice.

The easy way: `/migrate start`

Run /migrate start in your server. VoidBox finds your old levelling bot (MEE6, Lurkr, Amari, Arcane, Tatsu) and its level roles, and picks the best route for you.
Two extras are switched on for you: create level rewards from those roles (so members keep getting them), and keep the old bot's XP curve (MEE6, Lurkr or Amari) so levelling up feels exactly the same. On the free plan that curve switch is free once; changing the curve again later needs Premium.
Press the route button, check the preview, press Apply. Done.

Which way should I use?

Not sure? Start with A: it takes a minute and needs nothing from the old bot. Use B or C as well if your old bot did not give roles for every level.

A · From level roles: any bot, about a minute

Keep the old bot's level roles on your members. Don't remove them yet.
In Discord, run /migrate levels. VoidBox works out which level each role stands for: your VoidBox level rewards if you set any, otherwise roles named like "Level 10" or "Lvl 10" (how MEE6, Arcane, Lurkr and most others name them).
Check the preview: how many members, and the biggest level changes.
Press Apply. Everyone gets the level their highest level role stands for.

Prefer it automatic? Dashboard → Leveling → Give levels from level-reward roles raises anyone who has (or later gets) a level-reward role to that level. It only ever raises, never lowers.

B · From a MEE6 or Lurkr leaderboard

Make the old bot's leaderboard for your server public (in that bot's own dashboard).
Run /migrate mee6 or /migrate lurkr (or Dashboard → Leveling → Import).
Check the preview, then press Apply.

Free servers wait one hour between fetching a leaderboard and applying it: pulling another bot's leaderboard uses a shared rate limit. Files and the role route never wait. Premium skips the queue.

C · From an export file

Export your leaderboard from the old bot as JSON or CSV (any list of user IDs with XP or levels works).
Run /migrate file and attach it, or upload it at Dashboard → Leveling → Import.
Check the preview, then press Apply.

Arcane: exact levels and XP

Arcane doesn't let other bots read its leaderboard, so you export it yourself from your own browser. It takes about 2 minutes, and you only do it once. Use a computer (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari).

Quicker option: if your members have Arcane's level roles ("Level 10" and so on), just run /migrate start and pick From level roles. No file needed. Use the steps below when you want the exact XP.

Copy your server ID. In Discord: Settings → Advanced → turn on Developer Mode. Then right-click your server's icon → Copy Server ID.
Open your Arcane leaderboard. In your browser, go to https://arcane.bot/leaderboard/ followed by your server ID, for example https://arcane.bot/leaderboard/123456789012345678. You should see your members listed. (If Arcane asks you to confirm you're human, do that first.)
Copy the script: press the Copy the Arcane export script button below on this page.
Open the console on the Arcane tab:
- Chrome / Edge: press F12 (Mac: Cmd + Option + J) and click the Console tab.
- Firefox: press F12 (Mac: Cmd + Option + K).
- Safari: first Safari → Settings → Advanced → tick Show features for web developers, then press Cmd + Option + C.
Paste and press Enter. Chrome may refuse the first paste and ask you to type allow pasting: type exactly that, press Enter, then paste again.
Wait. A blue banner appears at the top of the page and counts members while it scrolls by itself. When it says ✅ Saved … members, the file voidbox-arcane.json is in your Downloads.
Import it. In Discord, run /migrate file, attach voidbox-arcane.json, check the preview and press Apply. Nothing changes until you press Apply.

If something goes wrong:

"No members found": the leaderboard hadn't loaded yet. Reload the Arcane page, wait until members show, and paste again.
"This is not an Arcane leaderboard page": you pasted it on the wrong tab. Switch to the Arcane leaderboard tab.
Fewer members than expected: Arcane's website only shows the top 100 on servers without Arcane Premium. Import those, then run /migrate start → From level roles for everyone else (it keeps whichever level is higher).

· read it first

Only paste scripts you trust. This one is VoidBox's, from voidbox.games, and only reads the leaderboard on that page: it sends nothing anywhere. Never paste console code a stranger sends you. If Arcane redesigns its website the script may stop finding members; use the level-roles route meanwhile.

How it combines with VoidBox levels

Every route asks for a mode: Highest wins (default, never lowers anyone), Replace, or Add on top.

After the import

Recreate your level rewards in VoidBox (Dashboard → Leveling → Level rewards), using the same roles. VoidBox hands out the right ones for everyone's new level straight away.
Switch off levelling in the old bot (or remove it), so members don't get two level-ups.
Changed your mind? /migrate undo reverses the levels for 3 days.

Levelling Free

XP for taking part, roles for reaching a level.

Members earn XP for messages (and voice time) with a cooldown so spam does not pay. Servers can also turn on Reaction XP (XP for reacting to other people's messages, with its own cooldown) and decide whether bot commands (slash commands and V-prefix commands) count toward levelling. Dashboard → Leveling sets the XP range, the cooldown, the maximum level, and where level-ups are announced. Free servers go up to level 200; Premium servers are unlimited automatically (an admin can still set a lower cap). /exchange takes all or amounts like 1.5m.

The Leveling section of the dashboard — The level-up preview is rendered by the bot itself, not redrawn by the dashboard — so it cannot drift from what actually gets posted.

Your own level-up message

The level-up message is fully editable: Dashboard → Leveling → Level-up message. Write your own text (in any language), choose plain text, an embed or an image card, pick where it is posted, and which levels get announced. Placeholders include {user}, {user_no_ping}, {level} and {server}. The live preview shows exactly what will be posted.

Mention or no ping

In the level-up message, {user} is a clickable mention (level-ups never send a notification), and {user_no_ping} is the member's username as plain text, like Arcane does. Levels reached from chat-revive rewards, invites and achievement XP are announced the same way as levels from chatting.

Level rewards

Give a role at a level. /level-reward add in Discord, or the Level rewards block on the same page. Free servers get 20; Premium is uncapped.

VoidBox's role must sit above any role it grants. Discord forbids a bot handing out a role higher than its own — drag the VoidBox role up in Server Settings → Roles if a reward silently does nothing.

What happens when a plan ends Nothing is deleted

A Premium server can hold 100 shop items; the free plan holds 30. When a subscription ends, VoidBox archives the difference. It never deletes anything.

Archived means: still stored, still listed, still yours — just not in use. Members cannot see or buy it, the bot will not hand it out, and it does not count against your plan's limits.

The newest things are archived first, so whatever you have had longest keeps working. You will find them all under Your data → 📦 Archived, each with a Restore button. Restoring works as soon as there is room: upgrade again, or archive something else by hand.

This covers shop items, jobs, companies, level rewards, reaction-role panels, ticket panels, application forms, achievements and chat-revive prompts. The check runs every six hours.

Safety score Free

Dashboard → Analytics opens with a ring: how much of VoidBox's protection this server actually has switched on, weighted by how much each one prevents. Anti-raid and anti-spam count most, a log channel counts because nothing is reviewable without one, and image screening counts because it is free.

Under the ring is every protection you are missing, what it stops, how many points it is worth, and a button that jumps straight to its setting. The ring is green above 85%, amber above 60%, orange above 35%, and red below that.

Demo: press 👀 Show demo of all analytics to see every chart, the drill-down and the AI assistant filled with a made-up community, on any plan. A banner stays on the whole time so it is never mistaken for your server's data.

XP calculator Free

Any member can open voidbox.games/xp-calculator, sign in with Discord and pick a server. Then pick a role reward or a level. It uses that server's real cooldown and XP per message, and their best role multiplier. It shows how many messages it takes, the fastest possible time (one message every cooldown), and an estimate at their own pace this week. Admins can share a link that opens their server directly: voidbox.games/xp-calculator?server=YOUR_SERVER_ID.

Rank cards Free Some extras Premium

/rank draws a real image, not an embed.

Colours, patterns and ornaments are free and per-member. Dashboard → Rank card sets the server defaults; members override with /card and /set-bg.

Name gradients Premium blend two colours across your username the way a Nitro profile does: 11 presets (Cyberpunk, Sunset, Crimson Moon, Mint Apple, Aurora, Gold Rush, Ice, Candy, Toxic, Ember, Midnight) or My two colours, which uses the text and bar colours you already picked. With Premium+ the gradient shimmers: the card is drawn as a looping GIF and the colours slide across your name. The background can animate the same way, and five three-colour gradients unlock — Prism, Vaporwave, Firefly, Lagoon and Nebula — where the middle colour is its own band rather than a blend.

The same gradients apply to the level-up card and the welcome image, set per server in Dashboard → Leveling → Level-up message, and Welcome. On a welcome card built in the editor the gradient paints the largest piece of text, which is the name in every layout.

Rank card customisation in the dashboard — Transparency is adjustable a percent at a time — 100% is fully opaque.

Premium adds thematic fonts and a custom background image. Premium+ adds an animated background and a name gradient.

Economy Free

Currency, jobs, a shop, gambling, investing, heists and gacha.

All of it works on the free tier. Paid plans raise the ceilings, they do not unlock the commands.

The Economy section of the dashboard — Rename the currency to whatever your server calls it — every command follows.

Extra currencies

Dashboard → Economy → Currency holds your main currency and any extra ones on one page. Each extra currency has ★ Make main, which swaps it with the main currency: everyone's balance of it becomes their main wallet, and everyone's old main money (wallet plus bank) becomes the extra currency, so nothing is lost. 🗑 Delete removes an extra currency and every balance of it, after a confirmation.

The currency is a game mechanic. It has no monetary value, cannot be cashed out, and trading it for real money is not allowed. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

Drops, exchange and extra currencies

Drops: when an admin turns on timed drops, VoidBox posts an item from this server's store in a channel (at most once an hour) with a Claim button. The first person to click gets one of that item in their inventory: see it with /inventory. A drop gives the item only, no coins or XP. If the server marked that item sellable, /sell turns it into currency at its sell price. Unclaimed drops expire after 5 minutes.

XP ↔ currency: /exchange rate shows this server's XP-to-currency rate and how much you may still trade this period. Trade with /exchange xp-to-coins or /exchange coins-to-xp. Admins set the rate and limits in the dashboard (Economy).

Extra currencies: /currency balance lists your extra currencies with each one's value in the main currency (for example "1 = 50 coins"). Swap with /currency buy and /currency sell. Admins: /currency give adds or takes currency, and /currency reset sets every member's balance to 0 (undo within 3 days with /currency undo-reset; XP and items are not touched).

Moderation & protection Free

Warn ladder, anti-raid, anti-spam, and local image scanning.

Warnings — /warn, /warnings, /unwarn. A ladder escalates automatically at thresholds you set.
Anti-raid — reacts to a burst of joins; /lockdown stops a channel dead.
Anti-spam — duplicate-message and invite-link detection.
Scam links — known phishing sites and look-alike names (dlscord, steamcommunnity) are deleted from anyone. Scam-server invites are checked by where they lead: a server named like a scam (free Nitro, "Discord Support", Steam gifts, crypto airdrops) is removed and your mods get Confirm scam / Not a scam buttons, with no timeout on a guess. A server confirmed by an admin, or flagged by two VoidBox servers, is blocked in every VoidBox server.
Files — program files (.exe, .dmg, .apk…), macro Office files (.docm, .xlsm), disk images (.iso) and archives with a program inside or a password are removed, at any size, without running or unpacking anything. Moderation → Scam filter → Allow program files in picks channels and roles where they are fine. Programs, archives, documents and disk images up to 100 MB are also looked up in the MalwareBazaar known-malware database; a match is removed from anyone, everywhere, with the full scam response. Free servers get 50 lookups a day, Premium unlimited.
Unverified bots — a bot without Discord's verified badge is quarantined when it joins (no roles, no permissions) and you get a Trust this bot button that gives its roles back. Bots on the anti-nuke trusted lists are always allowed; switch on Allow unverified bots (Moderation → Anti-nuke) to let them all in.
Image scanning — nudity detection that runs on our own hardware. Those images are never sent to an AI provider. Free on every plan. A free server gets 60 scans an hour at normal priority; past that, its images still get scanned but wait behind other servers' (in a flood a few may be skipped). Premium servers never wait.

The Protection section of the dashboard — Automatic moderation stores the outcome — what happened and why — never the message.

Premium adds an AI pass that judges scams and context, and server health: a toxicity score with the accounts driving it named.

Anti-nuke

Dashboard → Moderation → Anti-nuke. If one person or bot bans, kicks, times out, or deletes channels or roles faster than your limit (default 5 in 60 seconds), VoidBox removes all their roles, keeps a copy, gives them the quarantine role and alerts you in your mod log and by DM. This stops a hacked admin account or a rogue bot from wiping the server. The server owner and trusted roles are never touched, and Restore roles gives everything back in one click. VoidBox's own role must sit above the roles it should be able to take away.

Verification Free Alt & VPN detection Premium

Dashboard → Verification. New members press Verify and pass a quick ALTCHA check in their browser to get the verified role. Premium adds Alt account detection (same network as someone banned in the last 30 days, or as other new members) and VPN detection (VPN, proxy and data-centre connections), each with its own switch, and a choice to let them in and alert staff or hold the role until staff check. VoidBox keeps a one-way fingerprint of the connection, never the address.

Clean up old scams Free: /scan scams (Manage Messages) reads the last 60 days of every channel VoidBox can see, including voice-channel chats and threads, and finds scam links and scam screenshots (fake MrBeast casino giveaways, "Withdrawal Success" screens, free Nitro) posted before VoidBox was there. It shows the list with links first; Delete removes them, Keep them leaves everything.

Welcome & goodbye Free

Dashboard → Welcome. Pick a channel, write the message, optionally turn on the generated image. Free servers get 5 phrasings each way and VoidBox rotates between them; Premium gets 25.

Welcome DMs Free: switch on Also DM new members to send each newcomer a private message as well. Members with DMs closed are skipped.

{user} pings the new member; {user_no_ping} shows their username without a ping. A live preview under the message shows how it will look.

Welcome message settings — Several phrasings stop the tenth new member reading the same sentence as the first.

Tickets 1 panel free Role limit Premium

A button members press to open a private channel with your staff. Dashboard → Tickets builds the panel, sets who can see tickets, and where transcripts go. Free servers get one panel; Premium gets 25.

The builder shows a live preview of the panel as Discord will draw it, custom emoji and all — click any part of the preview to jump to the field that changes it. Every panel in the list carries a small preview too, with Publish (or Update), a channel picker, and Take down. Publishing again moves the panel: the old message is deleted first, so it is never live twice.

Who may open a ticket Premium: pick a role and only members who have it can open a ticket from that panel. Anyone else is told which role they need. The panel stays visible to everyone, because the rule is enforced when the ticket is opened, not by hiding the message. If Premium ends, the panel keeps the setting but stops enforcing it, so a server is never locked out of its own support desk.

Private threads instead of channels Free: switch on Open tickets as private threads and each ticket becomes a private thread in the panel's channel, so the channel list stays tidy. The opener is added straight away; the staff and ping roles are added by the opening message. /add and /remove work in threads too. VoidBox needs Create Private Threads, Send Messages in Threads and Manage Threads in the panel's channel.

Inside a ticket Free: /ticket close closes the ticket you are in (staff, or the member who opened it), saves the transcript and sends it to the transcript channel. /ticket add brings another member in, and /ticket open opens one without the panel.

Staff applications 1 form free

Forms with knockout questions — an answer that ends the application there, so nobody reviews a form that was never eligible. Free servers get one form and 20 questions; Premium gets 25 forms, 200 questions, and routing by answer.

Application form builder — Members apply with `/work-apply`; reviewers get a queue with accept and decline.

Name colours 7 free 25 + custom with Premium

/setup → 🎨 Name colours. Press Use the starter palette for seven colours, add your own with a name and a hex, then Post the picker here. Members pick from a dropdown and their name changes colour; Remove my colour puts it back.

The palette is drawn as a picture, because Discord will not render coloured text in an embed — so members see the actual colours, not a list of names.

With Premium a server can hold 25 colours and switch on Custom colour, where a member types any hex and gets their own. One colour role per member: picking a new one drops the old.

VoidBox's role must sit above the colour roles in Server Settings → Roles, or Discord ignores the colour. The bot puts each new colour role as high as it is allowed to.

Role rules 3 free 50 with Premium

Dashboard → Community → Role rules. A rule is conditions plus roles to give or take:

has these roles / has any of these / does not have these;
level, wallet, messages sent, or days in the server is at least N;
has ever bought something from your shop;
is boosting the server;
has the VoidBox Cyberverse Pro pass.

Join them with all or any, then pick what to add and what to remove. Rules run when someone joins, gains or loses a role, levels up or buys something, and on a check every 15 minutes for members active in the last week.

A rule can only touch roles below VoidBox's own top role — Discord forbids the rest — and a role named by two rules at once (one adding, one removing) is left alone rather than flapping.

Reaction roles 3 panels free

Buttons or reactions that give a role. Four modes:

Each option can require a role or be blocked by one. Up to 20 options per panel — Discord's own ceiling on distinct reactions for one message, not ours.

Giveaways 2 at once free Repeat is Premium

Start one fast with /setup — prize, duration, winners, and the requirements people set most. Everything else lives in the dashboard, because a slash command with twenty-five options is a form nobody can read.

Requirements and bonus entries

Minimum level or messages sent.
A required role, a bypass role that skips every check, and roles that are blocked.
Bonus entries for a role — a booster can be worth three tickets instead of one.
Voting on top.gg in the last 12 hours can be worth extra entries too.

▶ Run now: every saved template has a Run now button. Pick a channel and how long it runs (1d, 12h, 1w), and VoidBox posts it within about 15 seconds; the page tells you when it is live, or why it could not start.

Premium giveaways can restart themselves on a schedule. The plan is re-checked at every repeat, so a lapsed subscription stops future runs rather than continuing free.

Post as the creator Premium: on Premium, alerts appear under the creator's own name and profile picture, pulled from YouTube, Bluesky, Kick or Reddit. Turn it off at the top of the Social media page. It needs the bot's Manage Webhooks permission.

Voice rooms Free

Join a hub channel and VoidBox moves you into a room of your own, then posts a settings panel there: rename, set a limit, lock, hide, kick, and hand over ownership. The room deletes itself about 30 seconds after the last person leaves.

Voice hub configuration — Rooms survive a bot restart — they are stored, not held in memory.

Starboard, birthdays & revival Free

Starboard — pin the good messages by reacting. Any emoji you like, and you name the board. Free and uncapped.
Birthdays — /birthday sets it, VoidBox announces on the day and can hand out a role and a gift.
Chat revival — a prompt when the channel has gone quiet (details). 100 free prompts. Fresh AI-written prompts and facts need Premium or AI credits.

Engagement settings — The starboard emoji and the board's name are both per-server.

Chat revive Free

When a watched channel has been quiet for a while, VoidBox posts something worth answering and pings a role. The first three people to answer get a reward. Set it up in the dashboard under Community → Chat revive.

Watch these channels: only the channels you list are watched. None listed = it never posts.
Quiet for: how long a channel must be silent before a prompt (default 1 hour). Any message resets the timer.
Minimum gap and Most per day, per channel: limits so it never spams.
Quiet hours (e.g. 21 → 7): no prompts during these hours. They use the server's time zone from Birthdays; without one, UTC.
Ping this role: the role notified with each prompt. Pinging the role yourself does not trigger a prompt.

Prompt types (Chat revive → Prompts):

Question: 2–4 answer buttons, or Yes / No.
Trivia: 2–4 answers with one right; one try each, and only right answers win. Add a picture to make a guess-who (for example, guess the character). 10 trivia prompts free, 100 with Premium.
Fun fact: "Didn't know / Knew it".
Challenge Premium: a quick game such as tic-tac-toe.
Any prompt can carry an image or GIF by link: 10 prompts with an image free, unlimited with Premium.
With no prompts of your own, a built-in set is used.

Commands: /revive now posts a prompt in the current channel straight away (admins); /revive prompts lists this server's prompts. There is no fixed schedule: prompts are posted only when a watched channel goes quiet, or when an admin runs /revive now.

Reminders Free

Ask VoidBox to remind you, in plain words: @VoidBox remind me in 2 hours to check the oven, or @VoidBox remind me tomorrow at 9pm GMT+3 to start the raid. It answers with the time as a Discord timestamp, which shows in each reader's own time zone, and a Cancel reminder button only you can press. When the time comes it pings you in the same channel with a link back to your message, or DMs you if it can no longer post there.

Up to 10 reminders waiting per member per server, from one minute to a year ahead. A reminder only ever pings the person who asked for it. A clock time without a time zone is read as UTC, so add yours (GMT+3, CET, EST).

AI chat 50 a day free

Talk to VoidBox by pinging @VoidBox or with /ai chat. Reply to one of its messages and it follows the conversation. It answers as Boombox, VoidBox's own character, unless the server has given it a different personality (Premium+).

No subscription? Buy AI credits instead. AI credits unlock the paid models, picture reading and /imagine on the free plan too, paid from the credits: the server's own credits first, then those of the person asking. DM chat and Boombox Evil stay Premium+.

Free models are shared by everyone on the internet who uses them, so at busy moments a free reply can fail with a "busy, try again" message. That is a real error from the provider, never a fake one, and free chat never quietly switches to a paid model.

How the token pool works

A Premium server's members all draw from one shared pool, paid for by whoever applied Premium to the server.
Each model has a multiplier: almost every model counts 1×; Boombox Evil counts 1.5× because it costs more to run. A generated picture counts as a fixed 40,000 tokens.
AI moderation draws from the same pool. It is billed by what a check really costs (the repeated instructions are cached), roughly 340 tokens per scanned message, and pauses when the pool is empty while the free filters keep running.
Admins get a warning at 80, 90, 95, 99 and 100% of the pool.
Run out? Buy AI credits in the dashboard (AI chat → usage). Credits never expire, and you can move your own credits into a server's balance, which that server spends first.

What it can do

Answer questions about your server from documents and FAQs you add in the dashboard, and about VoidBox itself from these docs.
Profile lookups Premium: "@VoidBox pull up @someone's profile" shows a card of what Discord shows about them.
Polls: ask in chat, e.g. "@VoidBox make a poll: pizza or burgers?", and VoidBox posts a real Discord poll (24 hours unless you ask for another length, from 1 hour to 32 days, e.g. "a 2-hour poll"; one choice each). There is no separate poll command; just ask. It only makes a poll when someone asks for one, and needs the Create Polls permission in that channel. Answers can carry an emoji, custom ones included. To close it early, whoever asked (or anyone with Manage Messages) says "@VoidBox end this poll".
Summarise a busy channel: /summarize or "@VoidBox summarize the chat".
Reaction GIFs when they fit (from KLIPY, strictest content filter). Switch off under AI chat.
Change settings when an admin asks, e.g. "@VoidBox turn on anti-raid": it shows a preview first (see /configure).
Answer tickets first while staff are on their way (Premium, see Tickets).
Auto-clean: VoidBox can delete its own AI replies after 1 to 48 hours. Off by default.
Voice messages Premium: reply to VoidBox (or ping it) with a Discord voice message and it understands what you said and acts on it exactly as if you had typed it, including setting changes and moderation (same permission checks). Optionally, switch on Voice message transcripts and VoidBox writes the text under every voice message. Up to 5 minutes each. /ai-vc uses the same speech recognition.
Long answers continue in follow-up messages instead of being cut off.
Stop: the ⏹️ button on a reply that is still being written can only be pressed by the person who asked.
Roasts and summaries count towards the AI allowance like any reply, and show the usual model and tokens-left line.

Safety and privacy

Zero data retention first, on every plan: VoidBox asks for providers that don't keep your messages. Only if none can answer (free models are often busy) may a provider keep a prompt for a while. No provider ever trains on your messages. One exception: the picture provider keeps the prompt for up to 30 days (Terms, §3).
Roleplay uses a less restricted model, but every message and reply passes a separate safety model (Llama Guard) and is blocked if the check cannot run. Adult content is only possible in age-restricted channels.
The AI only sees a message when someone pings it or uses an AI command, plus the one or two messages it is replying to. Two exceptions, both off by default: if staff turn on Joins conversations on its own, it reads the recent chat in the chosen channels; if staff turn on AI moderation, messages are checked by a moderation model.
Jailbreak check: before the AI answers, every message is checked by Llama Prompt Guard 2, running on VoidBox's own server (nothing is sent anywhere for it). Attempts to make the AI ignore its instructions are refused without spending AI tokens.
Another bot deleting VoidBox's paid AI replies within an hour of posting gets AI suspended in that server for 24 hours (Acceptable Use, §7). Deleting older messages is ordinary chat cleaning and fine.

By ping: simple commands also work as a mention, even in servers where slash commands are switched off for members: @VoidBox rank, @VoidBox rank @someone, level, balance, daily, work, beg, inventory, store, leaderboard, vote and coinflip.

V prefix: the same commands without a mention or a slash. Type V and the command: Vrank, V rank, Vrank @someone, Vlb, Vbal, Vdaily, Vwork, Vbeg, Vinv, Vshop, Vvote, Vflip. Commands that need options (like /race) still need the slash command. /help shows a short version of this list.

Every slash command, grouped. Premium marks the paid ones. Staff commands only show up for people with the matching Discord permission. Options in italics are optional.

Fun

/roast member

VoidBox reads someone's public profile (name, avatar, badges, roles, custom status and what they are playing right now) and makes a friendly joke about it. It's all in good fun: it never jokes about appearance, identity or anything a person didn't choose. Pick yourself to be roasted.

The server has to switch Roasts on first (AI chat section). It is off by default.
Don't roast me: a button under every roast that only the roasted person can press. It stops other people roasting you in every server; roast yourself and press Let others roast me to undo it.
It jokes about choices, never about who someone is, and goes through the same content filter as every AI reply. One roast per person every 30 seconds.

/minigames 8ball question

The magic 8-ball. Asking the same question again gives the same answer, like a real one; ask something new and it re-rolls. Free, stores nothing.

Quick games just for fun, with no coins or bets. Hangman (random word, or word: I pick the word to type your own secret word; then you can't guess), guess the number, would you rather and unscramble are open to everyone in the channel; Connect Four is against a member you pick. party opens a party room: friends press Join, then play several quick rounds in their own thread. The host decides everything: which games (trivia, unscramble, quick maths, reaction race, Connect Four), rounds, seconds per round, thread or channel, late joins, player cap, removing players, and up to 4 teams (auto-balanced or picked by hand). Each round won is 1 point; in team Connect Four, players from opposing teams play at the same time and the team that wins the most boards takes the point. Most points wins, and the host can put up a prize from their own coins and XP, shared by the winners when the party ends (nothing is taken if it is cancelled). Admins can turn any of them (and the 8-ball) off on the dashboard's Miscellaneous minigames tab.

Games for currency

These use the server's currency. The result is decided and paid in one step before the animation plays, so closing Discord mid-game never loses or duplicates money.

/minigames tictactoe opponent bet: Challenge someone to tic-tac-toe on buttons. With a bet, your stake is taken when you challenge and theirs when they make their first move (that is how they accept). Win: you take both stakes. Draw: both refunded. Never accepted or abandoned: you get your stake back automatically.
/minigames rps opponent bet: Rock, paper, scissors, with the same bet rules as tic-tac-toe.
/memory opponent bet: A memory match: whoever finds the most pairs takes both stakes. Same bet rules.
/blackjack bet opponent: Hit to draw a card or Stand to keep your total. Beat the dealer without going over 21: a win pays 2×, a natural blackjack 2.5×, a tie returns your bet. Add opponent to play another member instead: you both bet the same, and the higher hand without going over 21 takes the whole pot. Turn it on in the dashboard under Games.
/gun-roulette bet: Push your luck. When the game starts, one of the six chambers secretly holds the live round, and each pull turns the cylinder one chamber. A blank grows the pot to ×1.14, ×1.43, ×1.9, ×2.85 and ×5.7 of your bet; the live round loses the bet. Cash out any time after the first blank; after 5 blanks it cashes out for you. Nothing is bet until the first pull, and the bet is refunded if the bot restarts mid-game.
/highlow bet: A card is shown: guess whether the next one is higher or lower (aces are low). Each right guess grows the pot; the less likely the guess, the more it pays. A wrong guess loses the pot, so cash out in time. Up to 10 guesses in a row.
/coinflip side bet: Heads is Boombox, tails is evil Boombox. Call it and double your bet or lose it.
/roulette color bet: Spin the wheel. 🔴 Red is most likely with the smallest payout, ⚫ black is in the middle, 🟢 green is one slot in eight and pays the most.
/race lane bet: Bet on one of two cars. The race you watch is the real one, replayed frame by frame.
/heist: Pay an entry fee, then clear five stages (break in, sneak past, crack the vault, grab it, get out). It only pays if you clear all five; the fee is never returned. Premium servers add extras.
/rob target: Try to take someone's currency. Fail and you pay a fine. Members with very little money can't be robbed.
/hack member: Try to read one digit of someone's bank card number, anonymously. It takes many tries to read all 16; the victim is told something happened (unless the server switches that off) and can get a new card.
/pacifist on: Pacifist mode, your own choice in every server: nobody can rob you, hack or use your game card, or roast you, and you get no DMs about it. You can't do those things to anyone either. You can switch it once a day. Servers can't turn this command off.

Economy

/balance user: Check a balance.
/daily: Claim your daily reward and keep your streak.
/work-apply job · /work: Apply for one of the server's jobs, then work shifts for pay.
/beg: Beg for spare change.
/bank balance · deposit · withdraw · loan · repay: Keep currency safe from robbers. Loans are Premium and have a deadline.
/store page · /buy item quantity · /inventory user: Browse the server's shop, buy, and see what you own. Every item in the store has a number like [23].
/item view item: Look up one store item by its number (23 or [23]) or its name, and buy it from there.
/trade with …: Offer another member currency and/or items for theirs. They accept or decline.
/exchange xp-to-coins · coins-to-xp · rate: Swap XP and currency at the server's rate (servers can set limits per role).
/invest company amount: Put money into one of the server's companies and wait for the return.
/gacha: Roll for a random item.
/market buy: The black market, when it is open Premium.
/daily-quests · /weekly-quests claim: See and claim quests.
/vote: Vote for VoidBox on top.gg for 12 hours of boosts: 2× XP and 1.5× currency, plus a luck boost that grows with your voting streak.

/rank user · /leaderboard: Your rank card, and the top 10 by XP.
/level rewards: Every level reward on the server: which level gives which role or coins.

/ai chat prompt image: Ask Boombox anything. Premium servers can attach a picture.
/summarize count private: Catch up on what was said in this channel. private shows it only to you.
/imagine prompt: Draw a picture. Free servers get up to 10 a day when a free image model is available; Premium has no daily limit. Takes about ten seconds; the prompt is checked by a safety model first.
/mode set · status · forget: Pick which AI answers your DMs: Chat or Coding Premium, or Boombox Evil (Premium+).
/boombox-evil on · off · language · reset · status: A deliberately rude AI persona in your DMs, in English or Russian (Premium+).
/configure ask · undo · history · list · trace: Staff: change settings or build channels by describing what you want. It always shows a preview before anything changes, and undo reverses the last change. Free servers get 10 a day (shared with Claude); Premium is unlimited. Also in /setup → 🪄.

Moderation and safety

/warn · /unwarn · /warnings: Warnings always need a reason. Warning limits can mute, kick or ban automatically (Safety settings).
/mute duration · /unmute: Time someone out, or end it early.
/kick · /ban delete_days · /unban user_id: Reason required. Everything is written to the mod log.
/lockdown on · off · message · channel · media · clear · preview: Lock every channel during a raid and post the lockdown message. Sound and visual are Premium (build it in the dashboard: Safety → Lockdown message).
/analyze type role channel: Check the server, one role or one channel for risky permissions: @everyone powers, roles most members have (e.g. a member role that can add bots), members using their own apps, bots with Administrator, open rules channels, missing 2FA and more, each with how to fix it. Free. Only you see the result, and nothing is changed.
/trust me · check · reset: The trust scale Premium.
/audit member days: Where the server's currency went: earned, spent or taken Premium.
/report reason user evidence1–5: Members report something to staff, with up to five files.

Everything else

/setup: Every feature switch and every list (items, jobs, alerts, giveaways…) in one menu.
/afk reason: Adds [AFK] to your name until you speak again, and tells people who ping you.
/birthday set · remove · show · next: Set your birthday (and time zone) so the server can celebrate at your midnight.

Cash, cards, hacking and Bank Pro Premium

Cash is the wallet: it moves freely and /rob can take it, with no way to get it back. The card is the vault: safe from robbery, but deliberately slow — set hours between card moves and a member may deposit or withdraw only once per period. That is the trade: carry cash and risk it, or bank it and lose the ability to move it on a whim.

Each member's card has a random number and a PIN (/bank balance → My card). Anyone who learns both can use Use a card to take a set share of the owner's vault.

/hack is the slow way in: each attempt has the chance you set (10% by default) of revealing one digit of someone's number, and remembers the digits that member already knows. The hacker is never named; the victim is told only that somebody probed them, so they can press Reissue — which gives a new number and PIN and makes everything every hacker learned useless. A frozen card reveals nothing. You set the chance, the cooldown and the cost per attempt.

Bank Pro is insurance members buy with your server's own currency: it cuts the hack chance and reduces how much a stolen card can take, for a number of days you set. It is never immunity.

All of it is off by default, in the dashboard under Games → Bank, or in /setup → 💰 Economy.

Currency audit — `/audit` Premium

Every coin movement is written to a ledger with a reason: daily, work, shop, gacha, a bet, a trade, a robbery, a card theft, a bank deposit, a loan. /audit reads the last 7 days (up to 30, or one member with member:) and answers whether the money was earned, spent or taken.

The totals and the flags are arithmetic, not opinion: one-way transfers between two accounts, someone taking far more than they earn, or movements with no recorded reason. The AI then explains the pattern — for example an alt-account funnel versus ordinary theft in a server that allows it. It never sees anyone's messages, only amounts and reasons.

Staff only (Manage Server), and the reply is private. The ledger keeps 90 days.

VoidBox publishes an MCP server at voidbox.games/mcp — 48 real tools for setting up and moderating your server, not a chat wrapper. Step-by-step guide: Connect Claude. Add it as a connector in Claude, sign in with Discord, and Claude can only ever see the servers you already administer.

In Claude, add a custom connector pointing at https://voidbox.games/mcp.
Sign in with Discord when prompted. That grant is what scopes it to your servers.
Ask in plain language — "how is my server doing this week?", "add a level 10 role reward", "which members are close to ranking up?", "build a ticket panel with Billing and Bug topics, only for Supporters"

Three tools work together: voidbox_list_emojis returns every custom emoji with the exact token Discord renders, voidbox_find returns roles and channels by name, and voidbox_save_ticket_panel builds the panel — embed, dropdown topics, buttons, and the role allowed to open a ticket. Roles and emoji may be given by name ("Supporter", ":boombox:") and are resolved against your server, so nobody has to copy an ID out of Discord. voidbox_publish_ticket_panel then posts it into a channel you name, and posting again moves it: the old message is deleted first, so a panel is never live in two places.

Changes proposed through MCP go through the same preview-and-approve step as /setup, and can be undone the same way.

Stat channels & the hacked-account trap 3 free

Stat channels put a live number in your channel list — 👥 Members: 1,204 — as a locked voice channel nobody can join. Choose from all members, humans, bots, boosts, channels, roles, or hacked accounts caught. Three are free, Premium raises it to ten, and the names refresh every 10 minutes (Discord only allows two renames per channel per 10 minutes).

Add one with /setup in Discord, or from Stat channels in the dashboard. /setup shows what you have; /setup deletes one, channel and all.

The hacked-account trap

A honeypot is a channel carrying one pinned, unmissable warning: do not type here, anyone who does is removed automatically. Real members read it and move on. A hacked account runs a script that posts scam links into every channel it can see — including this one — and is removed before the spam reaches anybody.

Set it up with /setup, or press Make honeypot on any stat channel in the dashboard. A stat channel becomes a text channel in the same place and keeps showing its number as its name.
Ban (default) or Kick. Kick bans and instantly unbans, which clears the spam everywhere it landed and still lets an innocent person rejoin.
The person is DM'd first, told their account looks compromised, and told how to secure it.
Their last hour of messages across the server is deleted.
Anyone with Manage Messages and the server owner are exempt, so you can test it.
/setup shows how many it has caught; /setup stops it.

The bot's role must sit above your members' roles, or Discord will not let it remove anybody — the message is still deleted, but the account stays.

Is the bot down? Free

voidbox.games/status shows whether the bot, the website, AI, payments and GIF search are healthy, re-checked every 10 minutes.

Premium is $4.99 a month, Premium+ is $9.99. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial when you subscribe at checkout — cancel inside it and you are not charged. (The no-card trial from the dashboard is 3 days.)

One server at a time, movable

A plan applies to one server, and you can move it whenever you like: dashboard → Premium → Apply here instead. Moving it takes effect immediately in both servers.

A downgrade never deletes anything. Caps are checked when you add something, so a server over a new limit keeps everything it already has.

Cancelling your subscription

Handled on Whop, who take the payments. It takes about a minute.

Press Manage, then Cancel membership.

Confirm. That is it; there is nothing to do on our side.

What happens next

You keep access until the period you already paid for ends. Cancelling stops the next charge, not today's access.
The dashboard's Premium section changes to "Cancelled — will not renew" with the date access ends.
When it does end, the server drops to the free tier. Nothing is deleted. Items, levels, tickets and settings all stay exactly where they are — anything over a free-tier cap simply cannot be added to until you are back under it.
Animated rank cards stop rendering, and alert polling slows from 5 minutes to 15.

The 20% retention offer

It is one discounted renewal, not a standing discount. If you accept, your next renewal is 20% off and the one after that is full price. We narrowed this deliberately: it exists to give you a reason to stay today, not to become a cheaper price list for anybody who learns to click cancel every month.

Refunds

Cancelling stops future renewals. We do not refund part-used periods except where the law requires it — if you are a consumer somewhere with a statutory right to one, you still have it. See Terms §5.

Coming back

Resubscribe at any time and everything is where you left it. If you want the server's data gone as well, that is a separate action and it is yours to take — see below.

Your data Free on every plan

Charging somebody to get their own data out is the thing that makes a paid tier untrustworthy, so none of this costs anything.

Export — dashboard → Your data → Export. One file with the whole server configuration.
Delete my data — removes your own member records. Immediate.
Delete this server's data — server owners only. Immediate, and it does not come back.

The Your data section of the dashboard — Removing the bot also stops collection at once; that server's data is deleted automatically after 30 days.
